Very good for a magnificent setting and a traditional meal. Several times I have dined at Dar El Jeld during my returns to Tunisia. The setting is beautiful, the dishes are good, even if there is a feeling that it is becoming standardized and that all the flavors of yesteryear are no longer as present in some dishes. Recommended experience if you are passing through Tunis.

I knew Dar El Jeld many years ago and despite regular trips to Tunis in recent years, I had not had the opportunity to return. It is now done and I am very satisfied with this new experience. A typical restaurant in a fantastic setting. Certainly the prices are high for Tunisia, but the place lives up to the price asked. Quality service, efficient, friendly and helpful staff. Same observation on the dishes! I ordered a octopus salad and a fish couscous, delicious. The plates are colorful and well presented, the cooking is perfect and the dishes are tasty. A very good time, to be repeated!

We dined there last night with our family of 5. The establishment and the rooms are superb... a discreet musician comes to enhance all this. Professional and diligent service that we particularly appreciated. Finally, the menu is an ode to Tunisian cuisine: focused on a few starters and main courses, the tastings were wonderful!
