Visit the archaeological site: - Punic necropolis. - Roman houses and public buildings. - Archaeological museum displaying findings from the site and its surroundings, including sculptures and mosaics. Departure to Ichkeul. Arrival at the Ichkeul National Park. The lake and wetlands of Ichkeul are essential stopovers for hundreds of thousands of migratory birds – ducks, geese, storks, flamingos, etc. – that come to feed and nest here. The lake is the last remnant of a chain of lakes that once stretched across North Africa. Visit the ecological museum and take a walk to admire the flora and fauna, with the possibility of encountering the buffaloes of the nature reserve. Continue to Bizerte. Arrival in Bizerte: lunch. City tour starting with the corniche, the rocky north coast with beautiful panoramic views.

Bizerte is the heir to a Punic trading post established in the 11th century BC. Its ancient name is Hypodiarytus. The city has preserved several Ottoman-era monuments, notably the fortifications. Stop at the old port to visit the medina and the kasbah with its old workshops and shops. Free time to stroll in the new city, which retains many monuments from the French protectorate period, being the last city to be liberated seven years after independence. Departure to Hammamet via Tunis. Return to the hotels.
