Details of the experience:
Departure from hotels. The administrative capital of Cap Bon and the heir of Néapolis, Nabeul is the capital of ceramics in Tunisia. Visit to a pottery workshop. Orientation and free time at the weekly market with its richly colored displays of spices, vegetables and clothing. Departure towards Kélibia via Korba and Menzel Temime . Arrival in Kélibia , coffee break and panoramic view of the fort and the fishing port. Kelibia is based on the remains of the Roman Clupea, some of whose foundations and houses paved with mosaics are still visible at the foot of the hill crowned by the fort. Visit to Kerkouene, the best preserved Punic site in North Africa. The partial excavations allow us to see a harmonious organization of the monuments: Protective walls of the city, dwellings equipped with bathtubs, Rooms decorated with fragments of mosaics, Alleys paved with stones, Public squares and places of worship Lunch at EL Haouaria . Continuation towards the north coast of Elhaouaria. Panoramic view of the “ Zembra and Zembretta ” islands as well as the caves (stone quarries located along the sea and used for the construction of several Roman cities including Carthage).
Continue towards Korbous . Panoramic view of the Gulf of Tunis . Korbous is a charming seaside village, perched on a hill, in the Cap Bon region, known since ancient times as a high-quality spa resort. Its hot springs are beneficial for rejuvenating, there are seven natural springs in the middle of the forests and mountains, facing the sea, they are the most famous in Tunisia. Stop at the “Ain El Atrouss” spring which springs from the rocks and flows into the Mediterranean. Continue towards Hammamet through green fields of citrus fruits, vineyards and a wide variety of other fruit trees.
