Experience Details:
Departure from hotels. The administrative capital of Cap Bon and the heiress of Néapolis, Nabeul is the capital of ceramics in Tunisia. Visit to a pottery workshop. Orientation and free time at the weekly market with rich displays of spices, vegetables, and clothing. Departure to Kélibia via Korba and Menzel Temime. Arrival at Kélibia, coffee break and panoramic view of the fort and fishing port. Kelibia is built on the remains of the Roman Clupea, with some foundations and mosaic-paved houses still visible at the foot of the hill crowned by the fort. Visit to Kerkouene, the best-preserved Punic site in North Africa. Partial excavations allow us to see a harmonious arrangement of monuments: city protection walls, houses with baths, rooms decorated with mosaic fragments, stone-paved streets, public squares, and places of worship. Lunch in EL Haouaria. Continuation towards the northern coast of Elhaouaria. Panoramic view of the islands "Zembra and Zembretta" as well as the caves (stone quarries located along the sea and used for the construction of several Roman cities including Carthage).
Continuation to Korbous. Panoramic view of the Gulf of Tunis. Korbous is a charming seaside village, perched on a hill, in the Cap Bon region, known since antiquity as a high-quality thermal resort. Its hot springs are beneficial for rejuvenation, with seven natural springs amidst forests and mountains, facing the sea, they are the most renowned in Tunisia. Stop at the "Ain El Atrouss" spring that gushes from the rocks and flows into the Mediterranean. Continue to Hammamet through lush citrus fields, vineyards, and a wide variety of other fruit trees.
